Il servo SwitchPilot 3 è multiprotocollo e può essere utilizzato con postazioni di lavoro secondo il sistema Märklin® Motorola® (ad es. 6021, Central Station® o Mobile Station®) e con centrali abilitate DCC. La configurazione può avvenire sia sul binario principale che sul binario di programmazione. Grazie a RailCom® è possibile leggere anche i CV.
